More is More

The phrase "less is more" was fundamentally at odds with our clients' vision. As passionate art enthusiasts and collectors, they approached us to transform a guest bathroom nestled under the staircase of their villa. The previous design did not reflect their vibrant personalities, so we aimed to infuse the space with their distinctive style.

We introduced dark green wooden wainscoting on the lower half of the walls, complemented by striking patterned wallpaper on the upper half, creating an atmosphere rich in drama and vitality. A vintage English vanity, featuring elegant brass handles and a beautifully grained marble top, replaced the original fixture. Chevron tiles bordered with black marble skirting adorned the flooring and shower area, further enhancing the design. The combination of bold prints, rich color tones, intricate flooring patterns, sleek brass accents, and backlit mirrors exemplified the "more is more" philosophy, perfectly aligning with our clients' artistic sensibilities.
